For Teams

Your team already knows things.
Make sure the organization does too.

Your team's best thinking is trapped in Slack threads, meeting notes, and the heads of people who might leave. THE WHEEL turns it into organizational memory — without anyone stopping to write documentation.

Team features launching H2 2026. The personal product is available now — start building your knowledge base today.

The knowledge loss loop

The same problems hit every team that moves fast.

🔄

Same questions, different Slack thread

"Why did we decide X?" takes 20 minutes to reconstruct.

🚪

People leave. Context leaves with them.

When people leave, their context leaves too.

📝

Documentation that never happens

Nobody has time to document.

Start building your company's memory today.

THE WHEEL starts as your personal knowledge engine. Tag anything work-related, and you're already building the foundation. When team access launches, you review what moves over — and your company has a memory from day one.

1

Use it for yourself Available now

Sign up for the personal product. Add notes, documents, meeting takeaways, decisions — anything you want to remember.

💡 If you're using this for work, we recommend getting permission from your company first. This works especially well for solo founders and small teams.

2

Tag what matters for work Available now

Use smart tags to mark items as work-related. Product decisions, architecture choices, hiring rationale, customer insights — whatever your company should remember.

3

Review what moves over Coming soon

When team access launches, you decide what crosses from your personal space to the company entity. Nothing moves without your review. You stay the document owner — access controls apply automatically.

4

Your team has a memory Coming soon

New hires can query decisions that were made before they joined. Context survives when people leave. No one had to stop building to write a wiki.

What this looks like on a Tuesday.

Three things that happen at every startup — done differently.

Onboarding in days, not weeks

Today: two weeks of questions that were already answered. Three people re-explaining.
With THE WHEEL: "What did we learn from the last launch?" Gets a summary from before she joined.

Post-mortems that actually stick

Today: post-mortem in a Google Doc. Six months later, same outage, doc forgotten.
With THE WHEEL: incident review is searchable. Next outage, playbook surfaces automatically.

Cross-team handoffs without the meeting

Today: 45-minute sync for context sharing. Half the team zones out.
With THE WHEEL: context shared once, queryable instantly. Meeting becomes optional.

Your competitive intelligence is safe.

Most AI tools require your data to pass through their models in readable form. THE WHEEL doesn't.

Roadmap, customer conversations, strategy never reach LLMs identifiably. Simple queries stay internal. Complex ones are anonymized.

You control what crosses over. Nothing moves from a personal space to the company entity without the document owner's review. Access controls inherit automatically from ownership.

Private by design architecture. Encrypted with your key. Decrypted only in volatile memory, then gone.

Export or delete everything, anytime. Your data is yours. This isn't a policy — it's how the system is built.

Compliance

We believe every user deserves real privacy and security — not just enterprises. These protections are built into the product from day one. Here's how our existing architecture maps to common compliance frameworks:

🔒 SOC 2

What we've built:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for all data at rest
  • RSA-OAEP 4096-bit asymmetric keys via Google Cloud HSM (FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified) — private keys never leave hardware
  • 4-tier key hierarchy: HSM → master → entity → session
  • Automatic 90-day key rotation with tamper-evident audit logging
  • Per-entity encryption key isolation
  • Row Level Security on 50+ database tables for tenant isolation
  • Dual-region failover with circuit breaker pattern

Pursuing formal SOC 2 Type II certification as we onboard enterprise customers.

🌍 GDPR

What we've built:

  • Per-user encryption keys for complete data isolation
  • 3-tier PII detection pipeline: local NER → LLM analysis → regex fallback
  • Automatic identity anonymization before any external AI routing
  • Full data export service (right to portability)
  • Full data deletion service (right to erasure)
  • Keys decrypted only in volatile memory, then zeroed
  • Row Level Security tenant isolation across all user tables

Working toward formal compliance validation as we expand to European customers.

🏥 HIPAA

What we've built:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption (NIST-approved)
  • PBKDF2-SHA256 key derivation with 310K iterations (OWASP 2023 standard)
  • Google Cloud HSM key storage (FIPS 140-2 Level 3 hardware)
  • Tamper-evident audit logging of all key operations and data access
  • Dual-region availability with automatic failover
  • Dual authorization required for production key rotation

Healthcare-specific compliance measures planned as we enter that market.
